How to Use Bluetooth Streaming & the DSP Control App
The B2 Audio SixTen (Black and Silver) and SixTwelve (White) DSPs include two types of Bluetooth functionality:
- Bluetooth Audio Streaming – Play music wirelessly from your phone (no app required).
- Bluetooth DSP Control – Tune and configure your DSP using the official SixTen DSP Bluetooth Control App.
Below is everything you need to know to use both features.
Compatible DSP Models
Bluetooth Audio Streaming (No App Required)
All SixTen and SixTwelve DSP units include built-in Bluetooth audio streaming. This allows you to wirelessly play music from any Bluetooth-enabled device, including:
- iPhone
- Android devices
- Tablets
- Bluetooth transmitters
How to Stream Music
- Turn on your vehicle and ensure the DSP is powered.
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
- Select the DSP’s Bluetooth name (e.g., "Car Music_xxx").
- Once connected, open your preferred music app and play normally.
No additional software is required to stream music.
Bluetooth Control App for DSP Tuning (iOS & Android)
If you want to adjust EQ, set crossovers, control channels, or load/save presets, you’ll need the official app. This app connects to the DSP via Bluetooth for tuning only.
App Features
- Wireless DSP tuning
- 10- or 12-channel output control (depending on model)
- Adjustable EQ, filtering, and crossover points
- Preset saving and loading
- Real-time tuning while audio plays

How to Connect the App to the DSP
- Ensure your DSP is powered on.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device.
- Open the SixTen DSP Bluetooth Control app.
- Press the chain-link icon in the top right and select your DSP from the in-app device list. ("Car Music_xxx")
- Enter the password (default is 000000)
- Begin adjusting EQ, outputs, filters, and presets.
Note: You can stream music and use the app at the same time. The streaming connection and the control connection operate separately.
Troubleshooting & Support
- If the DSP does not appear in the app, restart your vehicle's audio system.
- Make sure your phone is not already paired for streaming while attempting to connect for tuning.
- Confirm Bluetooth is enabled and no other device is currently connected.
- Try restarting the mobile app.
