How Does UPS Access Point® Delivery Work at B2 Audio?Updated an hour ago

UPS Access Point Delivery: A Convenient Pickup Option

You can now choose an eligible UPS Access Point® location during checkout on B2AudioUSA.com. Instead of having your order delivered to your home or business, you can have it sent to a participating local pickup location and collect it when it works for you.

What Is a UPS Access Point?

A UPS Access Point is a participating neighborhood business—such as a local retailer or The UPS Store®—that accepts eligible UPS packages for customer pickup. Available locations and hours vary by area.

Why Choose an Access Point?

Convenient Pickup

Choose a nearby participating location and pick up your order during that location's posted business hours.

Fewer Missed Deliveries

Your package can be waiting at the selected location even when no one is available to receive it at home.

Added Security

Packages are held at a staffed participating location and identification is required for release.

Helpful Delivery Updates

UPS tracking shows the pickup location, its hours, and when the package is ready to collect.

How to Select an Access Point at Checkout

  1. Add your products to the cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. Enter your contact and delivery information.
  3. If the order is eligible, select the UPS Access Point pickup option from the available delivery methods.
  4. Choose your preferred participating pickup location and review its address and hours.
  5. Complete checkout, then watch your email and UPS tracking for pickup updates.

Do Not Go Until UPS Says It Is Ready

Wait until tracking shows “Awaiting Customer Pickup” before visiting the location. A shipment notification or an estimated delivery date does not necessarily mean the package is ready to be released.

UPS Access Point Package Restrictions

UPS publishes the following general restrictions for packages shipped to participating Access Point locations:

Maximum weight44 lb (20 kg)
Maximum longest side38 in (96.5 cm)
Maximum length plus girth130 in (330 cm). UPS calculates this as: longest side + (2 × width) + (2 × height).
Maximum package valueA package shipped directly to an Access Point generally must be valued below $10,000. UPS lists exceptions for packages shipped to The UPS Store and packages redirected to an Access Point by UPS, the recipient, or the shipper.
Restricted contentsRestricted or prohibited articles are not eligible. UPS examples include hazardous materials requiring shipping papers, firearms, ammunition, and weapons. Additional carrier rules and limited exceptions may apply.
Other eligibility limitsShipper instructions, the selected UPS service, product type, destination, and the individual Access Point may affect eligibility. Adult-signature packages are permitted only in qualifying circumstances.

Why Don't I See the Access Point Option?

The option is displayed only when the complete order and delivery area qualify. Many car-audio products are large or heavy. An order containing a heavy subwoofer, loaded enclosure, multiple products, or a regulated item may exceed UPS Access Point limits even if an individual item appears small enough.

If the option does not appear at checkout, please choose one of the other available shipping methods. B2 Audio cannot manually force an ineligible shipment to an Access Point.

Pickup Requirements

Bring the package tracking number and a valid government-issued photo ID. UPS requires one of the following:

  • The last name and full address on the ID match the last name and full address on the package; or
  • The last name matches, and you also bring proof of residency matching the package address, such as a current utility bill; or
  • The name or full address matches. If the last name or full address does not match, UPS may also require the tracking number; or
  • A government-issued photo ID plus the shipper-provided package release code, when a code is required.

A package release code is a four- to six-digit number and is different from the tracking number. If one is required, check your shipment notifications and pickup instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the Access Point hold my order?

UPS generally holds packages for up to seven calendar days, although the shipper may select a different period. Always follow the package-specific last pickup date shown in UPS tracking. If the order is not collected in time, UPS may consider it undeliverable and return it to B2 Audio.

Can someone else pick up my package?

Pickup authorization depends on the shipment and the identification presented. If the shipment uses UPS's “Deliver to Addressee Only” service, only the person named on the shipping label may pick it up. Third-party pickup is not allowed for those shipments. Review the UPS pickup instructions before sending another person.

Can I change the pickup location after ordering?

Do not assume the location can be changed after checkout. Available delivery changes depend on shipment eligibility, shipper restrictions, and UPS services such as UPS My Choice®. Changing a delivery may also result in a UPS fee. Check the tracking page for the options available for your specific shipment.

Will choosing an Access Point make my order arrive faster?

No delivery-speed improvement is guaranteed. An Access Point changes where you receive an eligible package; the selected UPS service and transit conditions still determine the delivery schedule.

What happens if I do not pick up my order?

Once the package-specific holding period ends, UPS may return the order to B2 Audio as undeliverable. Any return, reshipment, or refund will be handled under our applicable shipping and return policies.

Are all UPS locations Access Points?

No. Access Point service is available only at participating locations, and services and hours vary. Select a location presented during checkout and review the location details before placing your order.
